Widely-regarded as the greatest Icelandic footballer of all-time, Eidur Gudjohnsen led the attacking line of Europe’s greatest football clubs in a glittering career.
In six years at Chelsea, Gudjohnsen scored 54 goals en route to winning three major trophies, including two Premier League titles; form which earnt him a move to Spanish giants Barcelona in 2006. The honours continued at Camp Nou in the way of La Liga, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup titles, before further lucratives moves to Monaco and Tottenham Hotspur. Gudjohnsen retired in 2016 as Iceland’s all-time top goalscorer and now offers his views across various media platforms as a pundit.
